Window Film Care Instructions

1. Right After Installation

  • Cure Time: Most films need 48 hours to fully dry.
  • Do Not Roll Windows Down: Keep them up until the film cures.
  • Bubbles or Haze: Some haziness or small water bubbles are normal while drying. They usually disappear on their own.

2. Cleaning Guidelines

  • Wait at least 1 week before cleaning after installation.
  • Use soft cloths or microfiber towels - never abrasive pads or brushes.
  • Cleaners:
    • Safe: Mild soap + water, vinegar + water, or ammonia-free glass cleaners.
    • Avoid: Anything with ammonia or harsh solvents (they degrade film & adhesive).
  • Technique: Spray cleaner onto your cloth (not directly onto glass) to avoid liquid seeping into edges.

3. General Care & Longevity

  • Avoid sharp objects near windows (seat belt buckles, pets' claws, etc.).
  • Park in the shade or use a windshield sunshade to reduce UV damage and heat stress.
  • Check edges regularly - peeling usually starts there; avoid picking at them.
  • Avoid stickers or suction cups (GPS mounts, air fresheners) on tinted windows, as removal can damage film.

4. Special Notes

  • Defrosters & heaters: Safe to use; won't harm the film.
  • Tint warranty: Keep this warranty card in case of bubbling, peeling or blistering.
